A MEMORABLE STAY AT THE LALIT LAXMI VILAS PALACE, UDAIPUR

Located near Fateh Sagar lake in Old Udaipur, this property is a perfect blend of luxury and nature. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a wet towel, water and a beads necklace.
The mesmerizing view of the grand Fateh Sagar lake has to be the USP of this place.

LOCATION

It’s pretty well located, near chetak circle (one of the most popular places of udaipur) in Old Udaipur which is referred to as tourist’s favorite spot. City Palace, lake pichola, saheliyo ki baari are all in the vicinity of this property. It’s a 45 minute ride away from the Udaipur airport.

RECEPTION

As soon as you enter the property, you get the feel of being in a heritage. The lobby area is grand and well presented. There’s a 21 balls pool table, where you can chill with your friends and kill some time. The staff at the reception were very courteous and happy to help. They helped me exploring Udaipur and were very flexible with check in and check out timings. Mr. Roop at the reception deserves all the recognition for being so polite and helpful.

ROOMS

There are 75 rooms in this property. After completing the due formalities, we were given the room without any delay. The room was quite spacious, with all sorts of amenities one can expect to have including TV, mini bar, pair of slippers, toiletries, tea/coffee maker, WiFi etc.

Room service was quick and each time, they were glad to help.

Chargeable spa service is also provided at Rejuve, the spa, where, you can relax yourself and relieve your stress.

GARDEN

The property has three gardens at three different levels with stairs connecting each of them. There’s also a kids play area in the garden.

CONCLUSION

All in all, it’s definitely a type of hotel you go to, if you’re looking for a luxurious experience. Here, you aren’t only paying for the rooms, but also for the tranquil environment, mesmerizing views and amazing hospitality.
