On my trip to Jaipur, I was looking for a decent hotel near airport and then, I found ‘Clarion Bella Casa’
Keep reading to experience my stay at the Clarion Bella Casa.

HOW TO GET THERE?

FROM THE AIRPORT : It takes around 5-6 minutes to reach the hotel from the airport.

FROM THE RAILWAY STATION : It’s 20 minutes away from the main Jaipur railway station

CHECK IN FORMALITIES

I reached Jaipur by 11 pm. I booked the hotel through goibibo app and it had an option of early check in, so I requested for that at the time of booking itself and they were kind enough to coordinate with me in that and pleasantly welcomed me to check – in by 11:15 am, against the regular check in time of 2 pm. Special thanks to the goibibo team and Mr. Surgyan at the reservation department of the hotel.

THE RECEPTION AND THE WAITING AREA

Although I didn’t have to wait to get the room, but I wouldn’t have regretted, even if I had to. The reception area is that good. It has a grand lobby which includes coffee shop, shopping area, spa and a salon and the ambiance is what makes it all worth it.

THE ROOM & THE SERVICE

The room was fully air conditioned (an obvious thing) and was of decent size. It had all the basic amenities that one expects to have like tea/coffee maker, television and a mini bar. The bed was clean and comfortable. The heater worked fine and the quilt was warm enough to be my saviour in the  winter night.

I had called the reception twice for the toiletries and a pair of slippers and they were happy to help and their service was prompt.

LET’S TALK ABOUT FOOD

My package included breakfast and either of lunch or dinner. So, I chose dinner and for lunch, I went to ‘Bikanervala’ which is located at the back side of the hotel and also it was recommended to me by many locals. And I must say, that it was totally worth it.

There’s a ‘zodiac restaurant’ on the 5th floor of the hotel which hosts dinner. The dinner timing is 7 to 11 in the evening. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The musician playing soulful music in the background made it all worthwhile. It was a mesmerizing experience.








They had a decent variety of cuisines for the dinner, all of them being scrumptious. It included a starter, soup, salad, vegetables, variety of breads and a desert (Gulabjamun, a very famous sweet of Rajasthan) So, all in all, I had a great time having the dinner, while listening to melodious songs.

A TRIP IS ALL ABOUT LEISURE, AFTERALL

This hotel boasts of having a swimming pool, fitness center, steam/sauna, ayurvedic room, board room, meeting room and 2 types of halls (Daffodil and Jasmine). Though, I didn’t have much time but I visited to take a glimpse of it for ‘The mile smile’ readers.

I requested them for a late checkout and they were kind enough to help me with the same. The team at the reception deserves recognition for being energetic, helpful and loyal towards their duties. Especially, Mr. Narpat who was very coordinating and kind. Check out formalities were done in a minute or two and it was indeed difficult for me to leave this beautiful place but I knew that, ‘Without goodbye’s, there won’t be any Hi’s’
