A ROYAL STAY AT ‘THE FATEH BAGH’, RANAKPUR

Those of you, who are here from my instagram (themilesmile) must be knowing that, I recently visited Ranakpur, as a part of my Rajasthan tour and I must tell you that it was one of the most royal places, I’ve ever visited! Infact, the whole Rajasthan trip was a royal one, but this resort (which I’m gonna review here) was indeed, a different kind of an experience!

HOW TO REACH

Udaipur Airport is the nearest airport to ranakpur, which is connected to Mumbai and Delhi through daily flights. The property is around two and a half hour picturesque drive (which won’t let you sleep) away from the Udaipur Airport.

TARIFF

Now let’s talk about the tariff. So, I booked it around a week prior through goibibo & it costed me around 5500 INR for one night (including breakfast)

PROPERTY

This property is a perfect place for the ones who love to experience nature along with a luxurious stay. It is also known for its rich cultural traditions, brilliant hospitality and scrumptious food.

It has a big garden to chill out! And trust me, the settings are such, that it makes it a perfect place for a candlelight dinner. Also, there’s a swimming pool of decent size and a spa.

But, the thing I liked the most was the recreation/game’s room. It had carrom, chess, table tennis and many more games. We spent around 3-4 hours there, just to realize that the sun was ready to set (We just had a day and there were lots of stuff to do. So, we really regretted the time spent in the games room) Pro tip : If you also have only a day, like us, don’t visit the games room. Just enjoy it from the pics attached below.

ROOMS

Rooms were cosy & spacious. Our room had a king sized bed and a day bed along with a mini bar, bathtub, jacuzzi and not to miss, a balcony, comprising of a coffee table to relax and enjoy the stunning view.

RESTAURANT AND SERVICE

Everything right from the breakfast to dinner was amazing, with the restaurant having a great ambience and courteous and well trained staff. The person at the reception was very cooperative and also arranged a deck of cards and few board games for us to play at night.

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS

This property is located at a perfect place, making it convenient for the guests to travel to the nearby ranakpur jain temple, which is a ‘MUST VISIT’ place for its beautiful archaeology and for experiencing positive and peaceful vibes.

There’s also ranakpur wildlife safari, which takes you to the deep forests to let you witness the beauty of nature and wildlife. Hotel staff were kind enough to book a jeep safari for us. We went for the safari at 8 in the morning and had a ball of a time as we spotted a leopard, wild deer, elephants and enjoyed some splendid views. At a point of time, it felt like, we are in a set of a horror hollywood movie, but then we were really enjoying it. Having a photo session amidst the forest was an experience of a kind.

FINAL WORDS

I have to admit, I wasn’t too happy about checking out and leaving this beautiful place. But what does make me happy is knowing that I’m definitely going back there soon!
All in all, we had an absolutely lovely stay here and if you’re planning a trip to Ranakpur, you’ll definitely gonna have a memorable stay here!
