MY STAY AT THE LEMON TREE PREMIER, JAIPUR

I arrived at jaipur International airport, sanganer through direct flight (jet airways) from chhatrapati shivaji international airport, mumbai.
By the time, I reached the hotel, it was around 6 pm and by 6:03 pm, I was in the room! Literally, the check in formalities were super fast (P. S : I booked the hotel room through makemytrip app).

Also the receptionist ( as I can remember, Mr. Surendra) was very welcoming and courteous! I chose the Premier room! And as, I entered the room, I was quite amazed as it was much, much and much better than my expectations! Rooms were quite spacious and clean, along with basic amenities such as iron and iron table, tea – coffee maker, TV, free WiFi (2 sessions of 30 mins), mini bar, snacks.

So, the total fare for me was around 4.5 k INR per night (It might differ as per the availability and on the season basis). It included breakfast and dinner. Timing for breakfast and dinner were 7-11 accordingly (morning and evening)

As I went for the dinner at around 9 pm, I was super amazed to see such wide variety of food offered. Literally, everything was there, right from delectable rajasthani dishes to scrumptious desserts (black gulabjamun, rasgulla, motichur laddoo, barfi, pastries, gajar ka halwa and many more)

Breakfast starts at 7 and it has everything one could ask for. Bread toast, fresh cut fruits, Dosa, idli, wide variety of deserts, different types of salad (Hey, calories conscious people) and many more dishes.

And trust me, this delicious food could be the USP (unique selling point) of this hotel! If you ask me, I would like to visit this place again for all those delicious foodstuff that I had!

The staff were very well trained in the job they were to do and also very courteous.

And now, let’s talk about the most important thing that I admired the most about this hotel and I think they should get deserving recognition for this. More than half of the staff employed at the restaurant (including waiters and the chef) were specially abled! Now, this is called humanity. I mean, the smiles on their face said it all! They were full of energy and were willing and inspired to give their best! So, hats off to the human resource and management department of lemon tree hotels group for coming up with this idea!

Also they were supporting an eco friendly initiative of ‘saving water’ by just serving half a glass of water at once. I liked this innovativeness too, as in the most cases, there’s wastage of water. So, they had a tagline which said, “we’re just serving half a glass of water at once to support ‘save the water’ campaign and we’ll be happy to serve more, if required”

There’s a well equipped gym at the 3rd floor accompanied by a spa centre called ‘tattva Spa’

There’s also a swimming pool at the 9th floor! It’s clean and is of appropriate size!

So, all in all, it was an incredible experience of staying at the lemon tree premier hotel, Jaipur. At the time of checkout which was at 4 in the morning, I was offered proper breakfast (including sandwich, doughnut, muffin, banana and an orange juice), as I had to catch a train for my next destination.
